Who is responsible for your data

What we collect

When you order: your name, email address, shipping address, phone number and order contents. This is the minimum needed to take payment and deliver goods.

We never see or store your full card number. Card details are entered on Stripe's checkout page and handled entirely by Stripe.

When you browse: your browser stores your cart locally on your own device. That cart is not transmitted to us until you begin checkout.

Advertising and analytics

We advertise on Meta and TikTok and may use their conversion tracking to measure which ads lead to purchases. Where these tools are active, they set cookies and may share a hashed version of your email or a pseudonymous identifier with the platform for attribution.

Any such tracking is disclosed in our cookie banner before it is set, and you can decline it without losing the ability to buy. If no banner is shown on this site, no advertising tracker is active.

Who else processes your data

Stripe, for payments and fraud prevention. Our fulfilment partners, to pick, pack and ship your order, which requires your name and address. Our email provider, to send order confirmations. Our hosting provider, which processes standard server logs.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's independent marketing.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for 7 years, which is the normal retention period for tax and accounting purposes. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to marketing. Email support@aligned.rest and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are in the EU, EEA or UK you may also complain to your national data protection authority. If you are in California, you have the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale; we do not sell personal data.

Children

This store is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
